Seriously, you guys. Have y’all ever been to Utah?
I won’t judge too harshly if that answer is no because it took me up until a month ago to get out there myself. And that was only for my wedding, but that’s another story :).
Back to the glory that is Utah.
Utah is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in the United States. I may even go so far as saying in the entire world!
The raw natural beauty is just out of this world. I had absolutely no idea what I was in for and within the first few minutes of being in the state…
I was totally shocked!
Just to let you know, screaming “OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING!!” around every bend is totally appropriate and necessary. Or “holy crap, that’s beautiful!” or “holy crap, look at that cliff” or “holy crap, how did this even get here” or “holy crap those colors are incredible!” You get the idea.
With all of that in mind, here are 31 incredible, beautiful, amazing, jaw-droppingly gorgeous photos of Utah!

There are no, or minimal at best, words to describe the sheer and raw beauty that is Zion National Park. Morning, noon, or night it is the absolute perfect place to go for a walk, take photos, or just to sit and contemplate life.
If visiting the park in early May, we found the best time for photos was exactly 8:08 pm. We even dubbed that “PFM” which stands for “pure fu**ing magic” and indeed it was. I mean for real, check those colors- #amirite?
This photo is from 8:08 pm – one of my absolute favorites!
This is the beautiful Temple of Sinawava. You can easily get to this spot by taking the shuttle from the visitor’s center down to the end, stop 9, and walking down the Riverwalk trail just for a couple minutes. The Riverwalk is one of the easiest and most popular hikes in Zion and I definitely suggest getting out there at least once.
Bighorn sheep, y’all. Freakin’ bighorn sheep!
I had heard rumors that these guys were floating around Zion somewhere, but honestly had no expectations of seeing them. And sure enough the LAST DAY in the park we spotted them! And with a BABY! STAHP! I can’t even handle it #blessed
We saw these guys while driving along the Zion-Mt Carmel Highway not too far away from the tunnel. Shockingly, we were the only car out there when they happened to be crossing the road so we got a front and center view for about 30 seconds. Super cool.
This is a classic Zion photo – looking down on the lower half of the wildly popular Angels Landing hike.
Taking a break on one of the Walter’s Wiggles…Angel’s Landing is super intense. When going up the wiggles, it’s totally appropriate and usually necessary to stop after every one and take photos. No one will judge.
Another one of the greatest parts of Zion is the amazing Narrows!
Imagine walking along and in the river for 4-5 hours, stepping over and on rocks and boulders as you make your way to Big Spring.
Bryce Canyon National Park
When you think you know just what Utah looks like take the drive up to Bryce Canyon and have your mind blown! Bryce is also like nowhere I’ve ever been or even seen. Shock levels off the charts.
Back to Zion – this is from the Hidden Canyon hike which is a slightly toned down Angel’s Landing. It’s not as popular, there are really amazing views and you’ll get the chain experience without the threat of falling to your death.
So, whatcha think? Pretty amazing, right?
We absolutely loved Utah and are plotting our next trip down there. I still want to rent a convertible and drive the state hitting the rest of the parks. It’s such a diverse landscape that it would make for an incredible road trip.
